About four years ago I brought a white poppy
home after a long walk around my neighborhood and placed it
on my basic scanner. I opened Photoshop Elements 2 and scanned.
I was blown away by the depth and detail possible even with
this most inexpensive of scanners. This was the beginning
of my fascination with scanning and the potential it opened
up for the love of detail and fine reproduction that I have
loved all my life. The care and attention I put into my early
drawings of floral and organic objects and the love and care
relished on the babies and pets that began once again after
many years also shows through with this new technology.
I have continued to experiment since then and have begun to
combine images in series of diptych, triptychs, fours and
fives and I am experimenting with single images, still lives
and patterned surfaces.
The images selected for this web-site are some of my favorites.
In the past two years I have framed several and entered them
in regional photographic contests. They have won honorable
mentions, firsts and Best in Show and I have begun to sell
them from my home, galleries and during Open Studio.
Enjoy looking at them. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions,
concerns or purchases. All images are now printed on archival
papers with archival inks and can be printed in various sizes.

form

examples can only suggest the final photographic enlarged
print, so should you be interested in a larger print send
an e-mail and I will make arrangements for you to see the
prints in reality.
